This year, Birdie is so much more excited about Christmas. She is remembering the excitement and traditions from past years and her enthusiasm is contagious! I’m not certain what Evie thinks or remembers about Christmas but he is excited because she is excited.
We are still decorating with a few things left to be finished here and there. One thing Birdie really wanted was a wreath for her bedroom door.
I pulled together a wreath for each kid’s door in 15 minutes all together and the I think the results are absolutely adorable. All I did was take some pom-poms we had leftover from a craft pack from Michaels and hot glued them to an inexpensive artificial wreath. Then I topped it off with a green satin ribbon. I love that shade of green on a wreath plus I think it goes great with the brightly colored pom-poms.
You could also use small ornaments to decorate a wreath. I think 90% of the miniature ornaments we have for their little trees have the plastic toppers ripped off rendering them useless to hang on a tree. I just might use them up for a wreath too!
Here’s a sneak peek of what else I have coming up this week for some DIY flocking!
